The Project

In partnership with Dimonoff and Elecal, Orange Traffic has deployed 80 smart LED no-parking signs in the city of Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures. This initiative aims to optimize snow removal operations and improve communication with citizens.

This project combines Orange Traffic’s expertise in light signaling with the Dimonoff | SCMS asset management platform, for real-time centralized management of smart LED no-parking signs.

Smoother Operations for the City

Thanks to these devices connected via a wireless network and activatable by sectors, snow removal efforts can be precisely coordinated. This targeted approach allows for more efficient management of municipal resources, thereby improving operational efficiency.

Benefits for Citizens

These dynamic LED displays allow residents to be informed in real-time about areas where work is planned, thus facilitating anticipation of parking restrictions. This innovative approach replaces generalized parking bans with sectorial restrictions – an approach that can sometimes be confusing for citizens. Thus, motorists can now rely on these clear dynamic messages located on the roadside and avoid unpleasant situations.
