Orange Traffic’s 401 Series FTMS Cabinets are engineered to protect critical freeway and traffic management equipment in even the most demanding roadside environments. Built from marine-grade aluminum, designed to meet NEMA standards, and equipped with robust thermal management, the 401 Series offers long-term durability for ATMS, detection, ramp metering, and camera installations.

The series includes two variations:

401 – Base-Mount Cabinet (full-size cabinet with pedestal)
401-P – Pole-Mount Cabinet (compact elevated installation)

Both variations share the same design DNA and quality standards, with optimized form factors for different field applications.

Description

The Type 401 FTMS Cabinet Family is designed to support a wide range of traffic and ITS applications, offering:

The 401 (Base-Mount) is ideal for complex equipment installations requiring maximum space.

The 401-P (Pole-Mount) is ideal when compact or elevated roadside installations are preferred.

A full-size, ground-mounted cabinet designed for large ITS deployments.
